Trade Compliance Analyst/Mgr

Job Description

Export Compliance:

  • Manage the US related system for Export Holds
  • Complete export and license determination processes for orders
  • Maintain export compliance Product Matrix of items classified for export
  • Ensure permits and licenses are properly requested and in-place prior to inbound or outbound shipments
  • Act as regional lead liaison with foreign agencies, providing requested information or responses
  • Run a regular training and update program for US Sales, Service and OA Employees
  • Execute local operations within framework of WW Trade Compliance goals and objectives

Import Compliance:

  • Establish and maintain customs and import compliance program for US facilities  
  • Act as the main contact for trade compliance within US
  • Conduct internal audits of compliance processes and procedures and drive improvements
  • Conduct internal trade compliance training for employees and drive improvement
  • Respond to requests from government authorities
  • Conduct import brokerage “other regulatory agencies” reviews and compliance audits
  • Determine proper HS and ECC code classification
  • Determine proper valuation for goods imported into the US
  • Assure imports into US under free trade agreements
Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience:


5-7 years Import/Export Experience working for Technology Company
Bachelors Degree
Licensed Customs broker a plus
