Embedded VISION Europe 2019 is the leading conference in Europe focusing exclusively on the areas of this disruptive technology and is organised by EMVA and supported by Messe Stuttgart, the organiser and host of the biennial VISION international trade fair. Embedded VISION Europe is aimed at developers and users of embedded vision technologies from all industries. The conference will be accompanied by a table-top exhibition of technologically leading companies presenting their embedded vision competence with innovative products, applications and services. Already the first Embedded VISION Europe 2017 was a great success, so that a strong growth of visitors and exhibitors is expected this year. The conference provides a platform for information exchange and peer-to-peer networks.
Embedded Vision – the new autonomy of image processing
The development of very powerful, cost-effective and energy-efficient processors has made it possible to integrate practical image processing functions into embedded systems, mobile devices, PCs and the cloud. Over the next few years, embedded vision technology will rapidly spread to many types of applications.
Embedded Vision will shape a whole new generation of products for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications and provide access to completely new markets: Embedded vision systems that can be deployed in an industry 4.0 environment, new and cost-effective solutions for the control of autonomous vehicles, portable diagnostic devices for medicine, intelligent image processing in sports and entertainment are just a few examples of many new innovations expected.
The conference will be held in English and is jointly organized by EMVA and Messe Stuttgart, the organizer and host of the biennial VISION international trade show.
