LAYERTEC is a German manufacturer and global supplier of high-performance laser optics for femtosecond, picosecond, nanosecond, and continuous-wave laser systems. Founded in 1990, the company has more than 35 years of experience and is an established supplier to leading laser manufacturers as well as universities and research institutes worldwide.

LAYERTEC integrates precision optics manufacturing with advanced coating technologies, including magnetron sputtering, ion beam sputtering, thermal evaporation, and ion-assisted e-beam evaporation. The supported spectral range extends from 130 nm (VUV) to 7 µm (NIR). Typical products include ultrafast optics, broadband optics, and high-power laser mirrors, with substrate sizes up to 2000 mm.

Today, LAYERTEC operates 45 coating chambers and has approximately 400 employees across the company.
