(a) Harvard physicists shone plane polarized light through 20 prisms containing chiral liquid of alternating handedness. In (b) the red dots show the resolving of the beam after 8, 12, 16 and 20 interfaces (from left to right). The two dots in the furthermost right image were shown to be opposite circular polarizations.
