BWA-CAM - For 3D Additive Manufacturing | |
12 Dec 2018 3D Laser Additive Manufacturing (LAM) is becoming increasingly common, and allows for the manufacture of components which would not be possible to produce using traditional machining methods. As with most materials processing applications using lasers, beam diagnostics plays an important role in 3D LAM in order to ensure a high and consistent product quality, and to comply with various standards by providing traceable laser beam measurement and certification before, during and after manufacturing. The Beam Waist Analyser Camera for real time laser beam measurement is now available in a 3D Additive Manufacturing modular configuration, providing ISO 11146 and ISO 13694 compliant measurements of spatial metrics such as: M2 values, beam waist size and location, spatial profile, divergence and circularity, amongst others. All measurements are taken in ‘real time’, as the BWA-CAM contains no moving parts allowing it to take instantaneous measurements. Contact LASER COMPONENTS for more information and pricing.
