10 Jan 2018 Knight Optical offer a range of Stock N-BK7 Precision Grade Windows, for use with our Graticules. Graticules are manufactured by photolithographically printing a highly accurate pattern onto a glass substrate such as N-BK7. The exact pattern is dependent on the products application and typically takes on a form of scales or crosshairs. As well as being used for traditional microscope slides, our graticules are used in sighting applications such as ranging for weapon sights or telescopes At Knight Optical we can supply both stock and custom N-BK7 windows to use as a substrate for your graticules. The high optical quality and uniform transmission of N-BK7 as well as low absorption in the entire visible wavelength range is a key feature for this application. Virtually free of bubbles and inclusions as well as being very clear and almost colourless in appearance allows of windows in this material to act in both a protective position as well as to seal the enclosure to protect the inside components of the system.
