Knight Optical's Color Glass Filters for LED Lighting

Knight Optical has successfully launched a range of Stock Colour Glass Filters, for use within Entertainment and Design Industry.

Within the LED Lighting Industry, Colour Glass Filters can used as downlights within a stage production by filtering the different visible wavelengths and filter out unwanted light from a white light source to provide desired coloured light that is perceived by an audience to be a highly saturated or intense colour.

This is just what you need to help set the atmosphere for whatever event you’re planning.

So how do they work? Well I’ll let you in on a little secret… by injecting a coloured dye into the glass substrate, the dye give the filer its colour and spectral performance. Due to this these filters are simple, stable optics that are cheap and easy to cut into custom shapes and sizes for your performance.

We hold a massive inventory of Bandpass, Long pass, Short pass, and Mounted Colour Glass Filters.

Stock sizes of 25mm diameter; and 50x50mm squares x 1mmthk with larger sizes of 300x300mm available on most of our filters as a custom option.
Custom shapes and sizes at short notice, in most cases turned around within 1-2 week.
Alternative thickness substrates available.
