LensCheck™ VIS Adjustable Conjugate Instrument

The versatile LensCheck™ VIS Adjustable Conjugate Instrument easily measures lenses at infinity and at distances as small as one meter. Shorter conjugates are available on request.

Advanced design features a motorized rotary (roll) mount for mounting lenses to the rotary (Yaw) platform—allowing the system to project a target anywhere within the two-dimensional field of view of the camera. The Target Module provides pinhole targets for lens measurements and camera flare; while a VideoMTF^® Image Analyzer samples the image and includes an apochromatic objective assembly and high-resolution CCD camera.

It is generally suitable for lenses with entrance pupil diameters.

OpTest® 7 software integrates with and controls the hardware; acquires and analyzes video and detector signals; and compiles measurement results in data and graph form—which may be exported directly to formatted Microsoft^® Excel workbooks for internal use or to include in customer reports.

The LensCheck™ VIS Adjustable Conjugate is built on the state-of-the-art features of our LensCheck instruments, including patented VideoMTF® Image Analyzer technology for real-time MTF measurements, industry-leading accuracy and repeatability and configurable automated measurement routines.

Measurements include MTF testing (on/ off axis), through-focus MTF, EFL and F/#, back focal length, astigmatism, field curvature, distortion, chromatic aberrations. Optional measurements include transmission, relative illumination, stray light and line of sight.

An intuitive graphical user interface, multiple user modes for production, lab and engineering, and easy-to-configure test routines all contribute to fast, accurate lens measurements.
