SWIR Imaging is a child’s play with C-RED!

23 Feb 2017

The range of high performance infrared cameras by First Light Imaging is totally changing SWIR imaging:
C-RED One, based on e-APD technology with a state of the art 320 x 256 MCT 24 μm pixels sensor, is specifically dedicated to very high end scientific applications.

Able to detect 3500 images per second with a read out noise under one electron, C-RED One is literally making the invisible visible.

Its outstanding autonomous cryogenic cooling system makes C-RED One the perfect equipment for adaptive optics and research.

C-RED 2 outperforms the capacities of its 640 x 512 InGaAs 15 μm pixels high resolution sensor, offering a breakthrough frame rate up to 400 images per second full frame while being ultra-sensitive: from 10 to 30 electrons read out noise at full speed.

The sensor embeds an electronic shutter with an opening width lower than 1 μs.

Smart, compact and easily embeddable, remote controlled, C-RED 2 is able to equip any system over the world, as simple as plug-and-play.

C-RED cameras are designed for astronomy, bioimaging or industrial applications, in very low light conditions and in any environment. Covering from 0.8 to 1.7 or 2.5 μm, they offer the fastest acquisition rate of all SWIR cameras, for a very sensitive high resolution imaging.
