16 Feb 2017 The high performance iFLEX-iRIS laser series from Qioptiq now includes a wider range of modulation features. Analogue modulation from DC to 5MHz, plus digital and combined dual mode modulation is now offered. Precise linear power adjustment is maintained throughout the power adjustment range. The dual modulation mode feature is beneficial to many microscopy applications where careful adjustment of laser power is required at the same time as the laser is triggered.
With the new CLM features, the iFLEX-iRIS lasers now deliver class-leading, low noise performance. This improves the signal-to-noise performance and in some systems, these lasers can effectively lower the noise floor to enable increased resolution. This is particularly beneficial for metrology and high resolution imaging applications.
