In the course of the restructuring process, Swissoptic AG has received a new management team, with the graduate physicist and experienced manager Dr. Hans Ebinger as the new General Manager. He already took over the reins in April and will lead SwissOptic into a future where they will focus even more strongly on the needs of the market. He has been supported in this new role since March 2011 by Peter Grollmann, Head of the Semicon (Inspection) Business Unit.

Further support will also come from Pavel Dokulil, who will run the Defense Business Unit from June 1st 2011, while from August 1st the position of Head of the Geosystems & Metrology Business Unit will be filled. Nicolas Hetzel has also already taken on his office, he has been responsible since April for the Medical Applications market segment, which will be run in Berlin by Sven Knuth.
