Pyser Optics are adding aperture products to their extensive range. Precision Optical Slits now include 100μm and 200μm width options to add to the 5μm, 10μm and 25μm current standard versions. All are produced as chrome on glass images to a very high definition.
Pyser Optics produce apertures and slits in both metal foil and on glass substrates to very high resolution. The metal foil products are all made using electroforming techniques to give excellent edge definition and straightness/roundness, features essential in many optical applications to provide precise beam definition without light scatter. The glass products are created using vacuum deposited chrome and photomasks, this allows complex and smaller patterns than may be possible in electroforming.
