Training day program for STEMMER IMAGING UK Vision Technology Forum announced

Date Announced: 21 Sep 2017

Seven full day hands-on training sessions have been announced for the first day of STEMMER IMAGING’s UK Vision Technology Forum. The UK Forum, which is part of five events to be held across Europe, will be held on 15 -16 November 2017 at the Silverstone Wing Exhibition and Conference Centre.

The dedicated training day on Wednesday 15th November will be run by the European Imaging Academy and can accommodate 50 attendees. The training courses available are:  Planning and implementation of machine vision solutions; Optics and illumination systems for machine vision; 3D imaging using the LMI Gocator; Rapid development – Sherlock machine vision software from Teledyne DALSA; Programming with Common Vision Blox; FPGA-programming with Silicon Software Visual Applets and Hyperspectral imaging – innovative inspection in machine vision.

Mark Williamson, Director – Corporate Market Development at STEMMER IMAGING said: “This is a great opportunity for attendees to get real in-depth training in the subject they choose. They will be guided by experts from the European Imaging Academy who can provide not just the theoretical basics but also a lot of helpful 'tips and tricks' during the practical exercises. We have put together a really attractive package which includes the training course, hotel accommodation overnight, a gala dinner with entertainment and free transfer between Silverstone and the hotel with priority entrance to Day 2 of the Forum.”

The complete package costs just £150 per person, with an early bird reduction to £120 for those who register before September 30, 2017. “These training courses normally cost £395, so this represents fantastic value for money, especially as delegates will have continued access to the expert tutors in an informal setting throughout the evening”, continued Williamson. “For those who would prefer a shorter hands-on experience, we will again be running our highly popular ‘taster’ sessions on Day 2 of the event. These get booked very quickly, so early registration is also advised for these.

Day 2 of the Forum has free admission and will be packed with opportunities to learn more about machine vision. There will be a program of more than 50 technical seminars covering a wide range of topics for both newcomers and vision experts; a new Integrator Zone where visitors can meet with systems integrators, and an exhibition from more than 30 of the World’ s leading manufacturers of vision components.
