Presbyopia: tackling the small print
Presbyopia, the blurring of near vision caused by stiffening of muscles around the eye with age, tends to affect people from around the age 40 onwards. Normally corrected with spectacles, several companies have come up with more invasive, high-tech approaches to treat the problem - typically involving lasers and replacement lenses.
