Lasers for long-sight correction
At this year's European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) meeting in Amsterdam, Carl Zeiss Meditec presented a new version of its excimer laser for laser correction of defective vision: the "MEL 90". It is said to ensure minimal ablation depth, reduce treatment time and offer higher reproducibility than its predecessor the MEL 80 (pictured). Credit: Carl Zeiss Meditec.
