This unique beam symmetrization unit is typically used in the fiber coupling of a diode laser bar for example. The FBT combines an FAC lens with a beam rotating lens array to provide you with nearly diffraction limited collimation and highest efficiency. Depending on your requirements, FISBA offers you all optical components or complete optical systems such as focussing optics for fiber-coupling as Facet-to-Focus (F2F) solutions.

• Pitch in µm: FBT 500 = 500 / FBT 400 = 400 / FBT 200 = 200
• Emitter width in µm: FBT 500 = 150 / FBT 400 = 200 / FBT 200 = 80
• Number of emitters: FBT 500 = 19 / FBT 400 = 25
• Transmission %: FBT 500, FBT 400 and FBT 200: > 97
• Standard coating: FBT 500, FBT 400 and FBT 200: AR 800-1000 nm
• Dimensions in mm3: FBT 500 3x3x12 / FBT 400 3x3x12 / FBT 200 upon request

Achievable fiber-coupling efficiencies*:

• FBT 500: = 80 % (fiber diameter 400 µm; NA 0.22)
• = 70 % (fiber diameter 200 µm; NA 0.22)
• FBT 400: = 75 % (fiber diameter 400 µm; NA 0.22)
• FBT 200: depending on the diode laser specifications

*valid for maximum number of emitters and corresponding focussing optics.
