Piezo system specialist PI introduces a new generation of 24-bit resolution, nanopositioning stage controllers. They will enable <100 picometer command resolution even for long-travel stages (>1mm).
Nanopositioning Controller Features and Advantages
* Integrated USB Interface & 24 bit converters improve speed and precision of all bio-nanotechnology applications
* Additional RS-232 interface for compatibility with industrial controllers
* Extensive software libraries & GUIs; LabView, Matlab, text-based programming languages
* Analog interface for compatibility with NI cards and analog control signals
* Network capability: up to 12 channels for multiaxis positioning applications
* Choice of position feedback sensors: capacitive for highest precision / piezoresistive, strain gauge for cost sensitive applications
* Integrated servo with notch filter: higher bandwidth
