Artemis Optical Ltd launch SafeNotch Bright Medical Laser Protection Filter Aug 26, 2009

As with the entire SafeNotch range, SafeNotch Bright offers exemplary levels of laser protection and colour consistency but, in addition, the SafeNotch Bright filter is colour corrected to deliver excellent levels of colour neutrality.
The opthalmic laser protection filters that are offered by the industry today are, typically, strongly pink or green coloured however, working closely with leading manufacturers of opthalmic surgery equipment, Artemis have been able to establish the need for an enhanced filter. SafeNotch Bright is virtually clear and colourless. The colour neutrality of the filter allows the surgeon to concentrate more fully on their patient, reducing distraction.

Additionally, with SafeNotch filters being identical every time, the need for pair matching is elliminated, saving the OEM precious production time and giving the surgeon a much higher level of familiarity when they use a new set.
