Supercontinuum Fibre Lasers – Flexibility for Advanced Imaging Applications Jun 29, 2009

The SC400-PP range of supercontinuum fibre lasers is now available with computer-selectable pulse repetition rates from 80MHz down to 100KHz. Custom versions of the SC-PP supercontinuum laser technology also enable further repetition rate selection from single shot up to MHz rates for advanced fundamental study.
These advances build on Fianium’s patent-pending SC-PP laser technology, designed for our customers working in the rapidly-growing fields of lifetime imaging.
Combined with a high-speed Acousto-Optic Tunable Filter (AOTF) the SC-PP technology provides access to any wavelength within the visible and NIR region of the spectrum from 400nm to beyond 2um, with repetition rates from single shot to 80MHz for steady state spectroscopy and microscopy to FLIM, TCSPC, STED, TIRF….

The SC400-AOTF-PP enables fast selection of individual colours with variable intensity and spectral bandwidth. Utilising multi-channel AOTF technology, up to 16 individual wavelength bands can be simultaneously or sequentially selected, with variable filter bandwidths from 3nm to >15nm.
SC400-AOTF-PP from Fianium is a single-source solution for many biomedical systems that currently utilise multiple DPSS and gas laser sources at discrete wavelengths.
