CODIXX dichroic glass polarizers feature high contrast and transmittance values for UV, VIS & NIR and IR ranges. The IR filters (1.2-3.0um) have special HT models with a transmission up to 98%.
Codixx colorPol® is a range of high-quality dichroic glass polarizers for use in the UV, VIS and IR regions. The filters use a unique technology - doping of sodium silicate glass with prolate silver nanoparticles - that produce filters with an extraordinary flexibility to meet demands for all spectral ranges, contrast conditions and designs.
The range has the advantage that they are flat like foil polarizers, can be processed like glass or silicon wafers and have large acceptance angles. In addition to standard sizes, custom shapes and coatings are available. The performance of a special can be optimized by trading off transmittance and extinction ratio at a given wavelength.
The filters can withstand up to 400°C, resist rough environments, most chemicals, UV radiation and bleaching.
