2-Dim 8 beams Pattern Generator for 1064nm Feb 6, 2008
Holo/Or added elements to its Multi Spot series that generate a 2 Dimensional array with 8 spots.
These spots are arranged as in a 3x3 array with a missing spot in the center.
This new concept to create 8 spots can be preferred in many applications above a 1 dimensional 1x8 array. Both are available form Holo-Or.
A typical application includes the splitting of a very intense beam into several channels. In the 2 dimensional design the separation angle can be rather large and still the overall diameter of the optics can be small.
