Applications in Spectroscopy
Notch filters are inverse band-pass filters. They block the light of a specific wavelength while the rest of the spectrum is allowed to pass through. They are used, for example, in Raman spectroscopy where the filter blocks laser radiation scattered by the measurement object.
Our filters feature a high damage threshold (1 MW/cm2), very good transmission characteristics (90%), extremely steep slopes, and a high blocking (OD6). Through the use of hard dielectric layers a robust surface is created, avoiding the need for the use of an additional protective window.
These filters come as standard notch and narrow notch filters. The narrow notch filters are particularly narrow banded.
We would be happy to advise you in your search for the optimal filter.
