This patent pending multi port optical receiver terminates with a 12-fiber ribbon MPO/APC.
This new design allows multiple link connections to a single receiver without further optical loss due to passive optical couplers/WDM.
It permits easy implementation of point to point links on a single optical receiver.
Optical CaTV Docsis networks and PON networks are the main applications.
