This one and half day IntertechPira conference and half day pre-conference workshop will discuss the latest market opportunities, end-use applications, and technical developments in plastic and thin film photovoltaics.

While finding and development of some PV areas have suffered due to the harsh economic conditions, progress in recent years should not be underestimated. Growing awareness of the possibilities of PV means more and more potential end use applications are emerging.
Plastic and thin film PV technologies provide the most flexible solutions, and while performance and durability improvements continue, commercial opportunities will inevitably follow.

In 2010, chaired by Dr Iain McCulloch of Imperial College London, Robert Koeppe of Linz University and Dave Carroll of Wake Forest University, the conference will also feature a poster exhibition enabling academics to present exclusive, late-breaking results or to give an introduction to interesting, innovative research.
