Axsys is a leading supplier of high-performance optical solutions to industries with the most stringent optical requirements. Applications include military targeting, navigation, surveillance, astronomical research,
and medical imaging. Many of these applications require optical solutions outside of the visual spectrum, and Axsys' satisfies these requirements with its extensive experience in the production of ultraviolet, visual, and infrared optics.

Due to the demanding nature of the applications that we serve, Axsys' optical production process is extremely comprehensive. Axsys offers complete systems design and design verification services in addition to state-of-the-art production and testing. Axsys optical solutions are
manufactured with state-of-the-art diamond machining, planetary polishing and conventional hand polishing processes. In addition, geometrical and diffraction-based optical performance analyses are conducted on all of our
optical products.

Importantly, Axsys is increasingly delivering solutions that require both our optical and motion control capabilities. Sophisticated thermal zoom lenses, stabilized optical platforms, and marker engines are only a few of the examples of the vertically integrated solutions we have designed and
produced for our customers.
