Tunable blue laser

The researchers list the advantages of their source over other existing blue sources as:

1. Fixed wavelength input pump source

2. Wide tuning range (425 nm - 489 nm)

3. High output power (up to 450 mW so far)

4. Single-frequency operation (<10 MHz linewidth)

5. Simple, compact, solid-state design.
